Lucerne Valley's first book store welcomes you with a large and diverse selection of used books. Whether you enjoy fiction or non-fiction, paperbacks or hardcovers, we have thousands of books to choose from.  We also feature a self-serve coffee bar with a variety of regular and flavored coffees. And if coffee isn't your thing, we have tea and hot cocoa, too.  And a comfy place to sit and relax. Stop in and say hello. We're here Tuesday through Saturday 12 noon till around sunset.

Special Events And Features

Our friends and our community are important to us. Some of the things we'll be offering will be:

• Story Times for the kids with puppets, Rodney Reader and/or Buford Bookman.
  
• Dollar Days - every day is Dollar Day on our "Little Red Cart" on the sidewalk outside our store. Every book on the top shelves is only $1.00! And on the bottom shelf only, every book is free. They might be stained or torn, but they're still readable and looking for a good home.
• Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate for our customers, and a comfortable place to sit and read or just visit.
• We can special order books for you from the internet. We have access to a number of book resources online that you might not have. For a small fee, we'll find your book at the best price in the best possible condition for you. Ask for details at the store.

New Location!

We've recently moved to a new location! Finally, a larger store with more books, more space, wider aisles and highway frontage. Our new address is at the top of the page and a map and directions are here.

We recently had the honor of hosting a book signing for Walt Peterson's first novel, Conspiracy In The Shadows.
